President of the Spring-Ford Area Historical Society
(& Former President of the Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area)

Ryan is a historian who has volunteered with numerous local non-profit organizations and businesses to offer valuable, historical research.
In addition, he hosts a history-focused show called "Timeless Tales" on Phoenixville's local news outlet Voxipop.
Passionate about sharing his knowledge, his interests include local and military history, photography, immigration, and the evolution of punk rock music!
Gene Delaplane | Veteran
President of the Society for PA Archeology Ch. 21

Born in 1938, Gene is a U.S. Marine Veteran, Retired Educator and lover of all things history.
He currently serves as the President of the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology, Chapter 21, President Emeritus of the Friends of Hopewell National Historic Site, and Director of the Historic Preservation Trust of Berks County.
His interests include archaeology, colonial history and historic preservation.
Doug Shupinski | Veteran
American Revolution Author

Doug was a member of the United States Naval Academy's Class of 1984. He went on to serve as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps until 1989.
Beyond his military career, Doug has become an accomplished author, writing two books on the American Revolution:
"A Glimpse of Freedom" & "Absolved From Allegiance".
Today, Doug shares his knowledge with the Gettysburg Foundation where he leads leadership development programs based on the Battle of Gettysburg.
